Mary Pickford – McCord Museum




From May 3 to October 8, 2012, the McCord Museum in Montreal is hosting an exhibition on Mary Pickford, a Canadian born film legend that is Affectionately known as ''America's Sweetheart.''


Mary Pickford was much more than a movie star; she was also a film industry pioneer. An independent producer and co-founder of United Artists, she was one of the most powerful women in the male-dominated Hollywood of her day. 



The exhibition presents a number of film posters, memorabilia and photographs that should not be missed. To wet your appetite, here are a few photos of what is on display.
